Join me on mission?

Hey Reader,

I hope this letter finds you well.

I write to you from Richmond Virginia, where I have been attending the MAPS Global School for about two months now!

How did I get here?

For the past two years, the Lord has been continually stirring my heart to minister before Him in His House—I've realized that I was created to dwell in His presence as a priest, confidently lifting my song and prayers, knowing every note and word is filling the bowls of heaven.

The Lord led me to continue this journey at MAPS Global, where I am being trained to carry this heart to the unreached in the Middle East and play my part in fulfilling Psalm 86:9:

"All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name."

Over the past years, I've witnessed the unfolding poetry of Jesus as He nurtured the seeds He planted in my heart. These seeds have blossomed into a passion for expressing His worth through worship and testifying to His beauty in serving the nations for the Gospel.

What have I been up to?

These past two months at the school have been filled with time in the prayer room, learning in the classroom, evangelism, reading materials, and singing in worship sets—all as preparation for this mission.

Through MAPS, I've come to understand that fulfilling the Great Commission must be coupled with a presence-centered community of prayer.

At the beginning of next year, I will embark on a three-month trip to an unreached people group in the Middle East.

My goal is to establish a dwelling place for the Lord where His name is not yet known and to share the Good News of the gospel with those who haven't heard it.

Will you pray for me?

Reader, I am reaching out to ask if you will pray for me?

Right now, I'm inviting a team of supporters who share my passion for bringing the Gospel to unreached communities. These partners will play a crucial role through both prayer and financial support.

For this incredible opportunity to serve in the Middle East, the total cost is $10,500.

Your involvement would mean the world to me and would help ensure I can continue this ministry without hindrance.

Reader would you take a moment to pray and ask Jesus if He would like you to be part of this journey with me?

I'd love to connect with you soon to chat more about this, answer any questions you might have, and share some more details about the mission.

Love in Christ,

—Maddie

Hi Reader, I hope this letter finds you well, and that you are staying warm and enjoying the unescapable stillness winter provides. I want to share a sweet dream I had a couple of weeks ago with you. In the dream, I sat at a table across from my sister Avila. I said to her, “Jesus spent most of His life in the normalcy of what it means to be human- living day to day as we do. So our day-to-day, our mundane, that is what He wants to talk about. That is where He wants to meet us.” As I told her...

a thought (or two) on trees My journals, sketchbooks, and anyone who has spent enough time with me know of my love for trees. I still find just as much joy in climbing a tree as I did when I was a little girl- still nothing like sitting up high surrounded by branches swinging from limb to limb. Recently, someone asked me why trees, what draws me to them? I found myself at a loss of words. But after pondering for a while, I realized that most of my fascination would have to do with knowing...
